Newham Goods, Truro - Brian Wilkinson

Newham goods was the western terminus for the West Cornwall railway and the only station in Truro until the arrival of the G.W.R. On the arriveal of the G.W.R. the station was used as the goods yard for the Truro region and became known as Newham goods. The period that the layout will attempt to represent is the turn of the century to just before the great war. As there is not a lot of information available on this site some of the buildings and features will be best guess at what they might have looked like. As you will be able to see from the plan I have a good idea of the foot print of the buildings but not photos of them all. If any one has information that they think might be of help to my project I would be pleased to hear from them.
