The 15th September saw the group meet with six members present, five members having tended their apologies, for various reasons.
The new test block instruments for Preston were given a brief demonstration and explanation as to how they functioned. Arthur Kimber also brought along a J73, one his own designed kits, which was given a run of the layout, pictures are shown below.
The main part of the evening was the discussion of the Area Group Questionnaire and the document produced by the Scalefour committee, along with the response I submitted on the groups behalf for the committee meeting. The consensus of those present was that I had represented the group correctly and there were no issues with my reply. The group were happy for me to continue as co-ordinator and with the format the group has for its meetings.
I will present the same information at the next meeting to those who were absent at the September meeting and provide the feedback on this medium. I will also attempt to solicit some input to the Scalefour News on a regular basis as per my response to the committee.
