I am in the process of building a model of the Midland locomotive shed. This was a single road shed of wooden construction.
I have the reference in the Wild Swan book of LMS sheds.
Does anyone have any other photographs or drawings that they could let me have a copy of.
One particular point of interest I would like to clarify: the windows appear to be leaning back in their frames. Could anyone confirm this and does anybody know why they were like that?
regards
Alan

Re: Ingleton Midland Railway
There is a photo of the shed on the Midland Railway study centre site:
http://www.midlandrailwaystudycentre.or ... alogue.php
Item number 61679, taken in 1954. Also 61680 unfortunately from the same angle but slightly further away in 1936. 65688 in 1951, closer up from the same angle.
I'll agree the first window looks angled, but I'm not sure they all are.
Unfortunately they dont list a drawing, but hopefully one of the photos is new to you and useful?
Cheers,
Pete
